Today, my aunt was out shopping with my 4-year-old cousin who was born 3 1/2 months premature. As a result, he has trouble using his right leg and his right hand, and wears braces on both.
As they meandered through a store, there was a little girl who began staring and pointing at his leg brace. After a little while, her mother noticed, and corrected her right away.
But my cousin, having seen the pointing and the commotion, looked up at my aunt and said, “Hey, mama, that girl over there was pointing at my cool red sneakers.”
The only thing I hate more than insects is change.

I’m currently watching Dora the Explorer with my baby cousin. And instead of answering in Spanish, he answers in German.
